2008 Tryouts and Paperwork Practice Schedules
A player should try out for the age group as determined by:
New ADD (Age Determining Date) Divisions:
- 9's - born between July 1, 1997 & June 30, 1998
- 10's - born between July 1, 1996 & June 30, 1997
- 11's - born between July 1, 1995 & June 30, 1996
- 12's - born between July 1, 1994 & June 30, 1995
- 13's - born between July 1, 1993 & June 30, 1994
- 14's - born between July 1, 1992 & June 30, 1993
- 15's - born between July 1, 1991 & June 30, 1992
- 16/17's - Junior Eligible if you are 16 or 17 as of December 31, 2007 and a junior in high school (no change from last year)
- All players that played with a U14 team or older in the 2007 AAU season may move up with their team or follow the new ADD
- This choice must be made BEFORE tryouts and you should show up for the appropriate tryout

If you have pre-registered by e-mail or mail then just show up at tryouts and the player will receive a tryout number. If you are registering on the day of tryouts then
please arrive early with the registration form and check and then the player will be given a tryout number. NO REGISTRATION IS COMPLETE WITHOUT PAYMENT!

PAPERWORK PRACTICE SCHEDULE FOR 2008

Below is the practice time set aside for each team to complete some important tasks. It is IMPERATIVE that at least one parent be in attendance at this practice.
Someone from Fencor will be there to facilitate these tasks.
- Forms for National and Mid-Atlantic AAU must be filled out and signed by a parent. These forms generate insurance(paid as a part of the registration fee),
permission to participate in tournaments, and issuance of AAU membership cards. Since Fencor is the largest club in the Mid-Atlantic District, we are under the gun
to get our paperwork completed asap.
- Birth Certificates- Any player that is new to Fencor must bring a COPY (originals not accepted) of the player’s birth certificate. We should have a copy on file
for “old” Fencor players.
- Uniforms- Any player that needs a complete uniform – or parts thereof- will order it at this practice. There will be sample sizes at the practice. $98.00 is the
total cost for a home and away uniform. The cost per piece is $26 for either color uniform top and $23 for either color uniform pants. Please bring a check to the
Paperwork Practice made out to Fencor AAU.

Fencor Gear- Bags, Tees, Hoodies, Sweatpants, etc can be ordered at this practice as well. There will be sample sizes and they can be viewed on our website under the
Clothing button. Checks can be combined for uniforms and gear.

Team Managers- This is a good opportunity for the parents to agree on one or more team managers. This person(s) is a coordinator for the team duties and responsibilities.

Practice- The coach and team would like to have as full a practice as possible. The more organized the parents are the less disrupted the practice is.
